Graphics Software Engineer at Intel (Anywhere)
Job Description –
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing the integrated graphics driver for Mac operating system. You will be part of the Intel graphics development team working with external developers, your peer integrated graphics development teams and architects to ensure Customer driver meet their product requirements. Responsibilities will include driver feature design, development, testing and identifying/driving needed building blocks to ensure customers time-to-market. The projects are highly visible; hence customer orientation, discipline and results orientation are core values for this position. We are looking for candidates who are self starters, motivated, flexible and great team players with the can do attitude to make customer happy and successful. Great communication skills and the ability to establish good working relationship with external developers is needed.
Requirements (Skills, Technologies, etc) – You must possess a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Vision
Additional qualifications include:
Strong object oriented programming skills using C/C++
Prior 3D graphics driver development experience
Prior Linux or Mac OS x development experience
Prior graphics HW programming experience
Strong graphics HW/SW debug skills
Proven record of ramping up new project with little prior knowledge and network your way to a solution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with internal and external project members at different levels.
The following qualifications will be an added advantage:
Prior graphics driver development on Mac OS X
Possess one of the following development experience: Kernel Memory Management, OpenGL low level driver development, Video, content protection, display
Familiar with Intel integrated graphics architecture and programming
Worked on compiler, performance and/or power tuning.
Experience in bringing up new graphics HW.
